What ages or skill levels does Miriam work with?
Miriam works with beginner to intermediate students, typically ages 4 and up. Lessons are customized based on each student’s experience and goals.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons can be held either at your home (if you have a piano available) or at Miriam’s home studio. Details will be confirmed at the time of booking.
What types of lessons are offered?
Miriam offers private or small group piano lessons, voice lessons, and musical theater coaching. Flexible scheduling is available for one-time, weekly, or biweekly sessions.
What should my child bring to a lesson?
Students should bring any assigned music books, a notebook for notes, and a willingness to learn! If attending a voice or musical theater lesson, water is recommended too.
How long are lessons?
Lesson options include 30-minute, 45-minute, 1-hour, or 90-minute sessions. We can help you select the best fit based on your child's age, focus, and goals.
What if we don’t have a piano at home?
If you don’t have a piano, lessons can be held at Miriam’s home studio where a piano is available. Keyboard recommendations can also be provided if you're considering purchasing one.
What is the Audition Workshop like?
Audition workshops are standalone coaching sessions that help students prepare for upcoming musical theater auditions. Miriam provides guidance on song selection, acting tips, and audition techniques tailored to each student's needs.
